Spiced Hot Chocolate


  • Ingredients

  • 1 Vanilla Bean cut in half lengthways

  • 1 L Milk

  • 2 sticks Cinnamon broken in half

  • 250 g Milk Chocolate broken into small pieces


  • Ingredients:

  • 1.

    Use a small knife to scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean

  • 2.

    Place the milk, vanilla seeds & bean and cinnamon sticks in a medium saucepan over low heat. Cook stirring for 12 minutes or until just simmering

  • 3.

    Place chocolate in a medium saucepan and pour over the hot milk.

  • 4.

    Turn the heat onto low to medium and stir until chocolate melts and is heated through.

  • 5.

    Remove the vanilla bean and cinnamon sticks and serve.


great for a thermos for a picnic.
