A rich ice cream infused with Amaretto and Nocello liquors, glazed cherries, strawberry burst sultanas and macadamia syrup.
Rita’s 9th course recipe from week 3 of Come Dine With Me Australia.


  • 10 glazed cherries

  • ½ cup black currants

  • 1 packet of strawberry burst sultanas

  • 1 tbsp Amaretto liquor

  • 2 tbsp of Nocello liquor

  • 1 tbsp of macadamia syrup

  • 1L rich vanilla ice cream

  • Sprinkle chocolate

    Dice 8 to 10 glazed cherries and add a half cup of black currants, and 1 packet of strawberry burst sultanas into a large mixing bowl, Add 1 tablespoon of Amaretto liquor, 2 tablespoons of Nocello liquor, and 1 tablespoon of macadamia syrup. Mix well.

    Add 1 litre of rich vanilla ice cream, until creamy, but not melted.

  • 3.

    Pour the mix into individual serving glasses and put all glasses on a tray in the freezer, quickly, for a minimum of 4 hours. Ensure each is solid before serving, and garnish with a glazed cherry (sprinkled chocolate is optional).
