Dressed Crab with a Special Splash of Secret Sauce

Richard's entree recipe from Series 1 of Come Dine With Me Australia ...


  • 500g Fresh Crab Meat

  • 2 tblsp Mayonnaise

  • Lemon Juice (1 lemon)

  • 4 Spring Onions

  • Handful of Chives

  • Lavosh Crispbread (3 per person)

  • Tabasco

  • Salt and Pepper


  • 1.

    Place the fresh crab meat in a large mixing bowl. Very finely chop 4 spring onions, a handful of chives and mix well.

  • 2.

    Add a good squeeze of fresh lemon juice, dash of Tabasco, salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.

  • 3.

    Be careful not to break up the chunks of crab too much when mixing in a couple of tablespoons of Mayonnaise and then spoon the mixture into ramakins and put back into the fridge.

  • 4.

    When ready to serve, put the ramakins on a small plate and serve with Lavosh Crispbread and a slice of lemon to garnish.
