Chicken Stew with potatoes

This is one of the most popular Colombian recipies


  • 12 pieces skinless chicken (marinated in olive oil, chopped garlic and salt)

  • 6 golden quartered potatoes

  • 3 medium chopped ripped tomatoes

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 2 spoons chopped parsley

  • 3 spoons olive oil


  • 1.

    Place a pot on the stove in medium high heat, add chicken and saute for about 5 minutes.

  • 2.

    Add onion and parsley until golden

  • 3.

    Add Tomatoes and let it cook for about 10 minutes

  • 4.

    Add potatoes and cook in low heat for about 15 minutes covered.

  • 5.

    Serve with white rice and green salad
