Stir-fried Choy Sum with Yellow Beans


  • 1 Bunch Choy Sum (or other green, Chinese vegetable)

  • 2 Tbsp Yellow Bean Paste

  • 2 Cloves Garlic

  • 3 Birds Eye Chillies

  • Oil

  • Chicken Stock

  • Pinch of Sugar


  • 1.

    Pound garlic and chilli in Mortar and Pestle until smooth.

  • 2.

    Heat some oil in a wok until very hot, stir fry garlic / chilli mix followed by the Choy Sum. Finish it off by adding some yellow bean paste, chicken stock and a pinch of sugar.
