Its the most popular food in egypt its really healthy and loved and is all made from rice pasta lentils onion and so on it is very delicous and involves no meat at all


  • 1 cup of brown sugar

  • lentils

  • 1 cup of short degree white rice

  • 1/4kg small choulder spaghetti

  • 1 cup of chick peas

  • 50g thin spaghetti

  • 3 big brown onions

  • 100g tomato pasta

  • olive oil as needed


  • 1.

    Boil the brown lentils

  • 2.

    Then boil the small choulder spaghetti

  • 3.

    Put the chick peas in hot water with 1tbs of bicarb soda two hours before boiling

  • 4.

    Put the brown lentils with the rice and cook together

  • 5.

    Chop onions into circles and fry in oil untill brown

  • 6.

    Fry the thin spaghetti until brown

  • 7.

    Prepare the tomato pasta


preparing the plate: Put the spaghetti on the plate and add some rice with brown lentils. Add some chick peas and some tomato pasta onions and then the fried spaghetti
