i was looking for a brownie recipe with no chocolate because lets face it who has chocolate in there pantry for very long, i dont in my house hold. and thats when i found this one but i have changed some of it to make it myown


  • 1/2 cup or 125g cup rice flour

  • 1/2 cup or 125g plain flour

  • 3/4 cup or 188g caster sugar

  • 1/2 cup or 125g brown sugar or dark brown sugar (if you have it )

  • 1/3 cup or 84g cocoa powder (good quality)

  • 2 eggs

  • 150 g melted butter


  • 1.

    Pre heat oven to 180c

  • 2.

    Line a brownie tin or square cake tin with backing paper

  • 3.

    Place all dry in ingredients in a bowl not a mixer

  • 4.

    Add wet ingredients

  • 5.

    Mix until just combine

  • 6.

    Add chocolate or other extras and mix

  • 7.

    Place mix into tin and spread evenly

  • 8.

    Bake for 20-25 min or until cooked


extra: you may add chocolate or add chocolate sprinkles
