A spicy twist on Golden Syrup dumplings
Sift flour and all spice into bowl.
Rub butter into flour mix with finger tips until fine bread crumbs consistency.
Add enough milk and mix with hand until a firm dough is created.
Take small amounts of dough and roll into balls.
Add all ingredients into a pan and bring to boil.
Add dumplings into pan once syrup is boiling.
Cook for 20 minutes and turn at least once during cooking.
Balls of dough should be about thumb size. You could try yoghurt instead of milk for a slightly tangy taste.
