Easiest bread you will ever make! Delicious warm for breakfast with butter & golden syrup!
Pre-heat the oven to 200 degrees and grease a loaf tin.
Sieve the flour & baking powder into a bowl with the salt. Put in the beer and stir until well combined.
Pour the mixture into the loaf tin (one large or two small). Sprinkle the top with the grated cheese
Bake the bread (large loaf 50-60 minutes and small loaf 30-40 minutes) until golden brown.
Turn out and cool on a wire rack before slicing.
Do not use low alcohol beer in this recipe, however you can use carbohydrate reduced beer.
You can use wholemeal flour.
A nice change for this recipee is to add caramiliased onions!
