This a very succulent and aromatic way of cooking beef or venison
easy to prepare and the end result is quite mouth watering
perfect with my warm cabbage,carrot & pancetta


  • 2-3 kg beef cut

  • 2x rough diced red onion

  • 6x large cloves garlic (sliced finely)

  • 1x full bunch parsley

  • 1x full bunch coiander

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 2x tlb tumeric

  • 2x tlb smokey paprika

  • juice of 2 lemons

  • pinch sea salt

  • ground black pepper

  • 2x tlb honey


  • 1.

    Any good cut of beef, (Ive used scotch,blade,eye fillet and venison)

  • 2.

    Set aside beef

  • 3.

    Add all engreients to large blender to form a paste

  • 4.

    Marinate beef in paste for minimum of 12 hours

  • 5.

    Place beef and all marinade in double foil wrap

  • 6.

    Set oven at 120 degrees and cook for 4 hours

  • 7.

    For well done 5hrs
