These mashed potatoes are what I use to dollop on my Braised Beef Casserole. So creamy and delicious you just can't get enough.
Boil the baby potatoes in boiling salted water until tender.
Put the potatoes through a ricer or mash with fork until almost smooth.
Add the salt, pepper and nutmeg and mix thoroughly.
Add butter a little at a time making sure it melts into the warm potatoes.
Add the milk a little at a time until you get a smooth consistency.
Return to a low heat for another 1-2 minutes and stir until all ingredients are well combined and the potatoes are smooth and creamy.
