Does not get much simpler than this method for perfectly boiled brown rice.


  • 2 cups water

  • 1 cup brown medium grain rice

    Bring water and rice to boil, stirring occasionally. Lower heat, cover and simmer for 15 – 20 minutes. Remove from heat and stand, covered, for a further 5 minutes. Rinse under hot water and serve.
