Take the ordinary banana and bran muffins to the next level with the addition of chocolaty, malty Milo!


  • 1 cup self raising flour

  • 1 cup NESTLÉ MILO

  • 1 cup bran

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 3/4 cup milk

  • 50 g butter, melted

  • 2 tbsp golden syrup

  • 1 egg

  • 1 large banana, mashed


  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 200C. Grease 9 cups of a muffin tin.

  • 2.

    Place flour, MILO, bran and sugar in a large bowl.

  • 3.

    Combine milk, butter, golden syrup, egg and banana and gently stir into dry ingredients.

  • 4.

    Spoon mixture into prepared muffin tin.

  • 5.

    Bake 20 minutes or until cooked. Serve warm or cooled.
