Faggot

Traditional British fare made from minced pork offal, breadcrumbs, onions and spices, which are shaped into small balls or sausage shapes. These are wrapped in pig’s caul (a thin, net–like membrane that lines the abdominal cavity), then baked in stock. They are popular in northern England and Wales and in areas of Europe and are a type of sausage that can be easily made at home.
