Dukka

Egyptian in origin, dukka is a blend of toasted nuts, seeds and spices. The ingredients, the combination of which vary greatly with each cook, are roasted or grilled, then lightly crushed but not powdered. Dukka is usually eaten with bread dipped in olive oil, or it may be sprinkled over meat and vegetables.
