Peter Morrissey has been a dominant fashion designer in Australian fashion for over 30 years dressing the likes of Kylie Minogue, Megan Gale, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Jon Bon Jovi, Chris Isaac, Geoffrey Rush, Michael Hutchence, INXS and other A-list stars.
After much success with the MORRISSEY label which was launched in 1997, Peter has successfully crossed over to mainstream with an exclusive apparel and homewares range available in department store Big W.
Peter Morrissey has used his extensive design experience working with corporations to redesign their uniforms and company branding. Peter has dressed 80,000 Australians a day both nationally and internationally through his uniforms designed for Qantas, IAG, OPSM and Novotel Hotels.
A survivor both in business and in life has made him a sought after speaker and mentor. Peter has experienced illustrious highs and devastating lows including the diagnosis of a brain aneurism, of which he famously survived. With his optimistic approach he inspires his audiences with stories of his career experiences, challenges and personal growth.
He grew up in the Sutherland Shire with a twin sister and 4 brothers in a manner very similar to the Australian movie, The Castle. As a kid his family only had a dinner table with 4 chairs growing up so had to eat in shifts – his 4 older brothers always ate first, he and his twin sister last.
