Italian born Dan moved to Australia with his partner in 2014. Growing up in Italy it is no surprise Dan learned to cook at a young age. “When I was 13, I always wanted to help mum and Nonna in the kitchen. They taught me how to make risotto, lasagne, ravioli and many other Italian dishes, I learnt from the best!”
With his mum, dad and brother still living in Italy, his Italian roots remain as his baking strengths lie in traditional Italian bakes, his mum’s Italian apple tea cake, almond cantucci, olive and rosemary focaccia and profiteroles with Chantilly cream. Dan’s main passion is travelling and discovering new recipes, which involves different variations on original recipes.
