Many years after Audrey Hepburn ate her croissant and coffee while gazing into the Tiffany & Co. window, the prestigious jewellery store is finally offering a real breakfast at Tiffany's!
Tiffany & Co. has built a cafe into its famous Manhattan store, offering guests a chance to have a Hollywood experience alongside its world-renowned jewels.
The addition to the Fifth Avenue landmark captured the imaginations of women worldwide, many of whom fantasised about having "Breakfast at Tiffany's" like the glamorous heroine in Truman Capote's novel, made famous by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 film.
The cafe sits on the store's fourth floor and is called The Blue Box Cafe. As its name might suggest, the store is themed with Tiffany's trademarked blue colour, and decked out with the brand's dining collection and decor.
The cafe's seasonal menu will be stocked with American classics and regular cafe fare - avocado toast, croissants and sandwiches - made with locally-sourced ingredients. The Blue Box Cafe celebrated its opening on November 10, and will remain open during normal store hours.
To complete the cafe experience, the cafe will be surrounded by other luxury Tiffany & Co. wares and experiences, including its luxury home and accessories collection, a baby boutique and a "fragrance labratory".
