Air-fryer recipe: You can make the perfect lamb crackling using only two ingredients!

Lamb crackling is possible, and it's a game-changer!

Nothing is more enticing than a perfect crackle on a roast. But what if you don't eat pork? Can you get the same amazing texture from other meat? Yes! Using an air-fryer, you can get incredible crackling on your lamb roast!

The delicious recipe was recently shared to the Share Kmart Air Fryer Recipes Australia Facebook group by aussie_keto_prepper. The post gained instant attention as a unique way to have your lamb, forever impacting many people's Sunday roasts.

She introduced her super-simple recipe, accompanied by mouthwatering pictures: "LAMB CRACKLE is a thing." And here's how she did it:

Ingredients:

  • 1kg lamb roast
  • Salt

To prep your meat, score the fat in a diagonal with a sharp knife, as you would a pork roast. Then, dry the meat's surface to ensure the ultimate crisp. Finally, salt the scored section, making sure to rub salt into the cuts. 

Cook the air-fryer at 200 degrees for 15 minutes and then reduce to 180 for an additional 20 minutes. @aussie_keto_prepper used a 3.2L air-fryer for her roast.

Remove from the basket and let the meat rest for 10 minutes. Slice and enjoy!
