Vaalia yoghurt contains the unique probiotic bacteria Lactobacillus GG (LGG), as well as premium quality Acidophilus and Bifidus yoghurt culture strains.
Lactobacillus GG (LGG) is a “good” bacterium added exclusively to Vaalia products because of the special benefits it provides. It is the most studied and scientifically researched probiotic in the world today, and along with Acidophilus (La-5) and Bifidus (BB-12), has been proven to have benefits associated with digestive health.
For one to benefit from consuming yoghurt containing live probiotic bacteria (cultures) it is imperative that the cultures are alive in sufficient numbers to survive the journey through the gut.
It is commonly accepted that a MINIMUM of 1 million colony-forming units (c.f.u.) of the good bacterial strains must be in each gram of product to ensure they are able to reach the areas of the gut where they may be of benefit.
