Top Sacrifices that Aussies Make for a Coffee

More than 1.3 million Australians have admitted they would be willing to skip brushing their teeth amongst other parts of their morning routine to savour their morning cup of coffee. Showers, drying hair and even breakfast were also put on the backburner for the daily grind.

What would you sacrifice for a coffee in the morning?

Shaving (men) - 29%
Eating breakfast - 28%
Makeup (women) - 24%
Drying hair  - 20%
Shower - 12%
Choosing an outfit - 10%
Brushing teeth - 8%

“Coffee is a huge part of many people’s morning routines, with instant coffee accounting for around two thirds of all coffee consumed in Australia. Especially at home, coffee is a huge part of the lifestyle that many Aussies enjoy and love.” said Darren O’Brien, a spokesperson for France’s number one coffee brand CARTE NOIRE, who commissioned the research into Australian coffee habits.

Drinking alcohol - 19%
Using social media - 18%
Playing sport - 16%
Eating fast food - 16%
Watching TV  - 6%
Drinking coffee - 5%
