Tasty doesn't need to be hard!
Banana bread is a real crowd-pleaser and an amazing way to transform over-ripe bananas that might otherwise be thrown away into a delectable treat.
Melissa Lee posted the genius recipe to the Slow Cooker Recipe & Tips Facebook page and it took off immediately. Not only can you make this amazing loaf in your slow cooker, but it only requires three ingredients!
To make your own slow-cooker banana bread, all you need is 5 bananas, a tin of condensed milk and 2 1/2 cups of self-rising flour.
After mixing the ingredients together, pour the mixture into a lined cake tin and add 3cm of water to the bottom of your cooker. Then cook on high for 2 hours with a tea towel under the lid to absorb any condensation.
On the post, Melissa suggested: "So yummy with butter and golden syrup." Other members of the group commented on recipe, saying that they also enjoyed the banana bread.
"I made this last week it was amazing," said one fan. Another wrote: "I’ve done this, just not in slow cooker, and I’m in love, doesn’t taste much different to a recipe that has a lot that goes into it."
So, if you were already a slow-cooker convert or a new-comer to the scene, this three-ingredient banana bread is a must-try!
