Streets is looking to bring the Viennetta back to masses of drooling Aussie fans - but this time, on a stick.
The recently revealed existence of Viennetta on a stick has really whipped Australians into a sugar-fuelled frenzy.
Earlier this year, one keen foodie shared a photo of the Streets ice cream while in China, simply with the caption, "Need this so bad."
Sadly, the product is no where to be seen on Australian shelves.
Following a sensational public reaction, Streets have agreed to release the ice cream on our shores.
"The reaction to Viennetta on a stick from Australians has been unbelievable," Streets Marketing Director, Anthony Toovey, told Huffington Post.
"It has clearly tapped into the deep love many of us have for this party classic. With so many clamouring to try such an ingenious addition to the range, it would be wrong of us to ignore."
The Viennetta ice cream cake was popular at dinner parties and birthdays throughout the 80s, and the reinvention of the ice cream on a stick really struck a chord with the Aussie public.
While there have been no hints as to when the Viennetta on a stick will be released, some are predicting we will see it by summer.
