It might be cold outside, but people are still rushing to buy the new Paddle Pops.
Paddle Pops are an Aussie icon. Nothing brings back memories of Australian childhood summer holiday like having a bite of your favourite ice cream.
Aussie ice cream manufacturer, Streets, has released a brand new flavour. Although unfamiliar, this ice cream might still induce nostalgia, as it tastes just like a strawberry milkshake.
The new Paddle Pop is available in supermarket freezers across Australia, retailing for $7 for a packet of eight Paddle Pops.
This is the brand's first time introducing a strawberry-based flavour to the Paddle Pop range, joining favourites chocolate, rainbow and banana. The ice cream is made with complete dairy milk and no artificial colouring.
People have already rushed to grab their box strawberry milkshake Paddle Pops, and the feedback has been very positive.
One person commented that they have been “waiting for this forever”, while another wrote that the new flavour "tastes and smells just like a strawberry milkshake".
This new release comes only weeks after fans accused Streets of "ruining" Bubble O'Bill ice creams, as they felt the new tub version was not representative of the famous treat.
