The world's first cheese-train restaurant is now open!

If you're reading this, you're probably a cheese lover... or know someone who is! So, news of a sushi-train style restaurant serving morsels of cheese is very good news indeed.

Imaging popping into a restaurant, sitting down and then simply picking up the cheeses you want to eat as they move on by past you. Sounds heavenly!

Well, now you can. A London venue called The Cheese Bar offers guests the chance to pick and choose from their cheeses, plating up over 25 different British cheese types at a time, including gouda, cheddar and more.

The experience is called Pick & Cheese, and is located in a food hall in Covent Garden, London.

Founder, Matthew Carver told Lonely Planet that he needed the right place to launch the cheesy experience, and finally found the right venue in Seven Dials Market.

“We’ve been looking for the perfect spot in the West End for a while now... We think this style of cheese and wine bar will work so well here — it’s the perfect stop for a pre-theatre snack or to refuel after a hard days’ shopping,” he said.

“In our Camden restaurant, our customers always want to pick different cheeses from our house list, and create their own bespoke cheeseboard,” Matt told the publication. “We wanted to come up with a way to offer this, whilst showcasing the cheeses at their very best.”

So, who is booking flights to London?!
