The two-ingredient pizza dough dubbed as ‘best base ever’

You won't even need to go to the shops!

If there's one thing about baking in Coronavirus is that ingredients are limited and patience is tight - so when a super simple, fail-safe dinner recipe comes up - you need to grab it.

Introducing the newest pizza base recipe on the block - only using two household ingredients.

In fact, the recipe is so easy and delicious that it's been dubbed as 'the best pizza base ever'.

So what's in it?

All you need is self-raising flour and Greek yoghurt.

Avid Australian bakers have been sharing the breakthrough recipe around the country, with one posting it in the Coles Cooking Club Facebook group.

"Tasted amazing and very easy to make," she said.

The only ingredients you need is half a tub of Greek yoghurt and 2/3 bag of self-raising flour.

Then, the method continues with simplicity:

> Combine the yoghurt and the flour with your hand to mix.

> Once in a ball, roll out with a rolling pin in pizza base shapes.

> Put in oven at 250 degrees (fan forced) for 8-10 minutes.

> Remove and add your choice of pizza toppings.

The recipe has become a loved staple for many families, generating an online frenzy.

"We made this tonight, was so good," one wrote.

"This is the best pizza base ever," another said.

Two-ingredient recipes have been taking over in Australian households, with the two-ingredient chocolate cake becoming a fast favourite.

With just eggs and chocolate, it could be the perfect dessert for the pizza base!
