Do you remember the caramel choc flavoured Paddle Pop ice cream? It's back!
It's time to dust off that yoyo, wake up your Tamagotchi and swing by the freezer to for a yummy snack... one of the most-loved Paddle Pop flavours is enjoying a resurgence!
It's been 30 years since the caramel choc Paddle Pop debuted on the shelves of freezers all over the country.
With a caramel-flavoured layer on the outside and a chocolate flavour on the inside of the treat, this special ice cream will take you back to a summer of yesteryear - especially if you grew up in the '80s and '90s.
Further to the trip down memory lane, the iconic Paddle Pop lion - who has graced the Paddle Pop wrappers, boxes and television ads since 1953 - is still a staple member of the Paddle Pop family, his smiling face plastered all over the packaging.
“We’re so pleased to announce the return of the caramel choc, fondly remembered by those growing up in the '80s and '90s," says Samantha Jarmul from Streets.
"Now they have the chance to enjoy their childhood memory of caramel goodness with their own children, and it tastes just as great!”
From its launch over 50 years ago Paddle Pop has become an Aussie icon, known as one of the best known frozen treats in Australia, popular with children and adults alike - especially the ‘big kids’ of the household.
