The recipe was shared by Brooke Baily to the Share Kmart Air Fryer Recipes Australia Facebook page. Her five-ingredient banoffee tarts went off, gaining over 300 comments and 700 likes.

Many commenters joked that this recipe was the last straw, and they need to leave the air-fryer Facebook group because they're gaining too much weight.

"Oh these look and sound delicious," said one air-fryer cook. Another simply remarked: "JESUS TAKEEE THE WHEEL!"

Want to see what all the fuss is about? Here's how it's done.

Ingredients:

Then, to construct, cover the base of the tart casing in banana slices. On top of that, layer on your caramel-Kahlua filling, being sure to leave some room for your toppings. Finally, sprinkle your chosen toppings onto the wet mixture.

Cook in the air-fryer at 160 degrees for approximately 8 minutes, or until the edges of the shell brown. Brooke used a 5L Kmart air-fryer to make her banoffee tarts.

Once done, Brooke served her's with some whipped cream and berries. She also "might have poured a little more Kahlua on the cream." Enjoy!
