Olivia's "perfect" garlic and French toast bagels won her title of Star Baker for the second time this season!
Even the best of us need a little help from Google - and that's where Olivia got the idea to boil her bagels in beer!
Yep. Beer bagels. Sounds delicious, right?
Here are Olivia's three best tips for perfecting her recipes for garlic bagels and French toast bagels:
- Don't be afraid of wet dough. "Dont add flour to it just because you think it won't be sticky," Olivia says. Stick it out!
- Give it time to prove. Give your bagels plenty of time in the oven, but check them regularly. "It's all about touching, feeling, checking," Olivia claims.
- Put your bagels in the oven before boiling. Putting your bagels in the oven for a few minutes before you boil them (in beer!), will help set them.
