Star Baker Monica on Baking a Great Babka

Monica's giant babka showstopper won her this week's Star Baker prize - and you can see why!

According to Maggie, Monica's Babka-rama was the winner of the week thanks to its "detail, surprise and drama".

The generous cake was layer-upon-layer of delicious dough, winning Monica her the title of Star Baker for the second week in a row.

Here are Monica's three quick tips for a perfect Babka:

  1. Pick your dough. Whether it's milk or water-based, go with your favourite.
  2. Use lots of butter. No arguments here!
  3. Pick your flavours and double or triple the amount to really pack a punch.
