Star Baker Jasmin shares her handy choux pastry baking tips.

Choux can be a tricky pastry to execute. In episode 3, Jasmin made short work of the 3 challenges. She has very kindly shared her top tips in the video above. 

To recap, Jasmin's Top choux tips:

  1. Cram it  a lot into the oven to help create the moisture to help the choux puff.
  2. Add the egg slowly when mixing your choux pastry, you may not even need it all. Check the mixture has the right consistency by pinching mixture between your fingers to see if it stretches to a couple of inches. If it doesn't, keep adding a bot more egg.
  3. Don't forget to lick bowl! Jasmin recommends using a spatula to get every last drop.
