Popular Aldi product has changed and is now being labelled 'vile'

People are NOT happy about this mix-up.

Aldi has gifted us everything from their beloved air-fryer to quick meals to make after work - but occasionally, and only occasionally does the supermarket giant make some mistakes.

According to shoppers on Facebook Page Aldi Mums, the chicken breast filo pastries are no longer as customers remember them to be.

Taking to the page, one woman shared a photo of the pre-packaged goods, writing: "These have changed! No longer a fan!"

And she wasn't the only one - several flocked to the post to share their own disappointment with the new recipe.

"Is it like the enchiladas? Went from actual chicken breast to reconstructed ( minced) chicken!" one commented.

"Yep. they have changed them both. These were both always in our freezer for a quick "go to" meal with a salad or steamed vegies and were pretty good.. I'll never buy either of them again, they are horrible now," another answered.

"Yep -- gone down the same road as the enchiladas... Both are vile now," a third added.

However, one customer did see the brighter side of the alleged change though, stating: "Had them tonight for the first time and I thought they were ok for a $6 pre packaged processed meat meal."
