You can now make pizza scrolls in your slow cooker - here's how!

A new slow cooker recipe for pizza scrolls has taken the internet by storm...

We've heard of curries, meat dishes, stews and even desserts in a slow cooker, but scrolls? Pizza scrolls?

A new, easy-to-make recipe has been shared hundreds of times across Facebook after it was posted in the Slow Cooker Recipe & Tips group.

Taking minutes to prepare and just two hours to bake in a slow cooker, the recipe is proving VERY popular.

Uncooked pizza scrolls in a slow cooker

And if you want to try your hand at making them, here's the pizza swirl recipe provided in the Facebook post.

For dough

3 cups self raising flour

1 teaspoon garlic salt

200gms butter

1 cup milk

For Filling

Tomato pizza paste

Salami chopped

Ham chopped

Fresh basil

Shallots

Grated parmesan cheese

Grated tasty cheese

Directions
To make the dough mix the flour salt and butter until it becomes bread crummy then add the milk, knead and then roll out dough.

Spread tomato pizza paste over dough, cover with remaining filling ingredients finishing off with the cheeses.

Roll it up, cut into slices roughly an inch or more if you like, layer in slow cooker on top of baking paper and cook for 1.5 - 2 hours on high with tea towel under lid.
