Australia's most celebrated culinary names are coming together for a stunning new TV series.
An extraordinary line-up of Australia's greatest cooks will appear together on the small screen for Foxtel's new series, The Great Australian Cookbook.
A whopping 22 of our most renowned chefs, including Matt Moran, Maggie Beer, Darren Robertson, Peter Gilmore and Clayton Donovan, will offer viewers an intimate look at their lives as they cook for family and friends in their homes and workplaces. The 11-episode series is set to premiere on Foxtel in early November.
Fillmed at some of the most picturesque locations across Australia, the astonishing talent will showcase some of their favourite recipes, food philosophies and secrets to their success.
As the series travels from Alice Springs to Bruny Island, Western Australia and Far North Queensland, we will also meet a colourful group of unsung Aussie heroes, including the Country Womens’ Association baking champion, a bush tucker expert, pastry cooks and farmers.
The first episode will feature Maggie Beer and Matt Stone, and will premiere on Foxtel's Lifestyle on November 7 at 8:45pm AEDT. Following its broadcast on Lifestyle, each episode will also be available to view via Foxtel On Demand, or on Foxtel Now.
