As a celebrity chef and TV Presenter, ever wondered what Manu actually eats when he's at home with his family? Find out now, plus get his secret to the perfect Bolognese sauce!
The truth is, according to the much-loved chef, that Manu is just like you or I behind closed doors - a passionate home cook who enjoys simple food made with good-quality seasonal ingredients.
"I'm sure some folks assume I feast on foie gras, oysters and champagne every day," he says, "and much as I love the idea, the reality could not be more different."
Manu shares his kitchen at home with his fiancée Clarissa, who he describes as a "fabulous cook" that has introduced Many to many of her family recipes, which take their inspiration from Malay and Chinese cuisines.
"I love Clarissa's beautiful curries and soups, quick stir-fries and fragrant vegetable dishes, just as she craves my famous bolognese sauce, hearty stews and traditional French desserts."
The couple both love to cook and are always thinking about their next meal and who will cook what. "Our kids eat what we do," he explains, " I believe that the sooner you introduce your children to new foods the easier life will be for you."
So without further ado, here are a few of Manu's favourite recipes to cook at home, from his new cookbook More Please! - that are quick, easy and enticing for all the family!
