Maille: Have you pronounced the mustard name correctly?

A tongue twister indeed!

An Australian food blogger has shared a hilarious tale about mispronouncing a popular French brand - for well, all of her life.

The brand in question, is Maille - one of the most established French brands in the country.

Despite making it to supermarket shelves centuries ago, it hasn’t been the simplest brand to pronounce.

Food blogger Leah Itsines, who has been working alongside the brand revealed she's been saying "may-lee."

"My mum and I have been using their mustards for YEARS (especially the Dijon and the wholegrain) and could not believe that I had been saying their name wrong all this time (sorry you guys haha),” she told her 500,000 followers on Instagram.

“It’s pronounced ‘MY’ mustards!”

Therefore, it is pronounced, "My."

Maille Australia even commented on her post, writing: “And yes, you are spot on for how to pronounce our name!”

Good. We're glad that's settled.
