How to perfectly peel a prawn

Peeling prawns can be messy work. Here’s how to get the job done right, in just three simple steps.

Prepping prawns for a summer barbeque, or snacking on a few as an entrée can sometimes seem like more fuss than it’s worth.

So pour yourself a glass of wine and follow our simple guide to peeling prawns in the video above, which will make life a whole lot easier.

1. Twist the head and pull off.

2. Straighten out prawn and peel from the legs outwards.

3. Pinch the tail and pull. Remove the vein and voilà! You have a perfectly peeled prawn to enjoy.
