Love it or loathe it, one of the problems with city living is we’re so busy we don’t eat good healthy food. We eat in the car, we eat at the desk, but with a little effort you can eat well without taking too much time out your day. And it starts with a healthy breakfast.
Pete’s breakfast is a takeaway, but it’s a healthy takeaway. It’s good old veggie juice.
The Morning Energiser
- Apple and ginger
Beetroot is for the blood circulation and blood cells, carrot is for the carotene and skin colour, ginger for your digestion and apple for a nice bit of fruit to start the morning.
Lunch is always easiest on the run but try to make your own at least a few times a week for some variety. Here are some ideas-
- Tomato and Bocconccini Salad
- Pumpkin and Coconut Soup
- Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls
