Boiled, fried, "in a hole', omelette, eggs are the perfect protein source for breakfast, lunch and dinner, we go through a couple of dozen a week usually.


A kitchen staple that never goes out of fashion, it is hard to imagine breakfast at home without milk.


With stewed fruit, with your muesli or as an alternative to cream or crème fraiche on dessert, even just the idea of yoghurt makes you feel like you're doing your body a favour.


After being so badly out of fashion for so long, there is nothing more delicious than butter spread on.

Fresh green vegetables

No meal is complete without a huge serving of green vegetables, whether they're steamed, stir-fried or in a salad.

Crisp apples

An apple a day... nothing matches apples cold from the fridge.
