A pair of Aussie lovebirds are about to have a very 'slice day' as Domino’s announces a competition to win a pizza-shaped engagement ring adorned with 18-carat yellow and white gold, diamonds and rubies.
Valued at over $9,000, the winner will get to propose to their loved one on Valentine’s Day and pop the question with the ultimate pizza-themed gesture. Hopefully resulting in a resounding ‘I dough!’.
Applicants must submit a 30-second video detailing how they would involve Domino’s pizza in their proposal. If successful, not only will you win the slice of sparkles, Domino’s has also offered to cater the wedding!
Domino’s say they want to “help create the greatest, if not the cheesiest, proposal ever!”
They also want to make sure that everyone has had ‘the talk’ before entering. That’s whether your partner likes pineapple on their pizza, which is a topping choice that can change the shape of a relationship.

While the latest Domino’s engagement ring campaign certainly takes things to the extreme, it’s not the first time a fast food chain has tried to woo coupes to commit to each other in their restaurant.
Just last year, chicken chain KFC offered an innovative competition that saw the brand cater for six couples’ special day.
“KFC Weddings is our response to all the couples we’ve heard of who have popped the question in one of our restaurants or who have created their own version of a KFC Wedding,” the brand said at the time.
“With so many people wanting us to be part of their big day we just had to create KFC Weddings as a service for all couples ready to tie the knot.”
