The air-fryer cob loaf recipe that's gone viral

Kmart coming in handy again.

There's nothing quite like ripping into a cob loaf on a quiet afternoon, it is one of Australia's best snacks. However, if you don't want to wait the half an hour for the cob loaf to crisp in the oven, one mum has devised a clever way to make a deliciously creamy cob loaf with only six ingredients in just five minutes.

You heard right!

The clever cook found that using a Kmart air fryer greatly minimised cooking time and actually made the filling taste better!

Sharing her recipe on Facebook, the home cook revealed she mixes sour cream, French onion soup, cream cheese, frozen spinach and cheese and spoons it into the loaf before microwaving for one minute.

She then places the mixture into the $69 Kmart 3-in-1 Air Fryer and pops it on 180 degrees for five minutes.

The woman added that heating the mixture before placing it in the air fryer made the cooking process much faster.

"'I heated the mixture in the microwave so it was only the bread that needed toasting [in the air fryer],' she explained in her post.

"I also put the pieces of bread in the grill but chucked them in the air fryer for a couple of minutes when I took the cob loaf out."

And the results are pretty impressive! So, who'll be trying this easy recipe on the weekend?
