Would you love to host and constantly be invited to dinner parties but are too lazy to bother and don’t have any friends? Fear not. Come Dine With Me gives you the chance to get involved in plenty of dinner party action.
Every week five strangers, who love to entertain, take it in turns to throw a dinner party in their own personal style. But this is no ordinary supper - after each dinner, the guests secretly score the host a mark out of ten. The food and the atmosphere are taken into account when scoring and at the end of the week the top-scoring host wins 1000 euros.
From Dublin to Cork and Waterford to Galway, hosts from all walks of life take the Come Dine With Me challenge – providing astonishing and hilarious insights into their homes and their dinner party secrets.
In my opinion pasta won't match at all with the pork caramel since the sauce won't mix well with it, you better eat it with rice or maybe with some breads. I never tried it myself but rice seems to be the best side dish. Anyway I bought a foie gras from Delices d'Annie and it was a really good idea to serve it with some toasts, my guests were enjoyed it during our aperitif! :D
