Partly in Europe, partly in Asia, Istanbul is an exciting metropolis full of exotic flavours. There, Nici cooks with a Kurdish family, visits a wildly entertaining baklava factory and has a feast at a high end restaurant. At home Nici makes an exotic Turkish hotpot with pomegranate salad, and sweet, buttery baklava from scratch.
