About the show

The first leg of Valentine's fishing adventure takes him from the waters off the Cornish coast, inland to the rivers of the Tamar Valley. He goes hand-lining for mackerel, reef fishing for whiting and tries a spot of night fishing for the elusive sea trout. Included on the menu are sweet & sour mackerel; lobster, avocado & pink grapefruit salad; pollock with bacon & parsley sauce and steamed sea trout with pickled cucumber & hollandaise sauce.
