TV Dinners

About the show

Hugh Fearnley-Wittingstall invades the homes of Britain in search of hidden connoisseurs of culinary genius. He sits in at dinner parties, celebrates births and christenings and tags along at reunions and rituals. Part cookery series, part social barometer, TV Dinners is a fascinating insight into the British way of life.

Hugh meets exotic dominatrix Felicity who tells her guests what to wear, a dumpling-cooking Glaswegian granny, and he eats frogs legs with a Liverpool builder. He goes shooting with some Sloanes and plays gooseberry at a Valentine’s dinner. A series which proves that the British aren’t so bad at cooking after all!
