Finley was the winner of the third season of The Next Food Network Star. Amy is an avid traveler who loves food. She attended École Gregoire-Ferrandi in Paris and has authored a travel book on Italy, The Adventurer's Guide to the Italian Riviera. Amy wants to inspire viewers to cook simple, beautiful food.
In addition to writing, Amy also works as a caterer and is a homemaker. Her favorite food is eggplant, and she dislikes veal and bok choy. Her culinary inspiration is Julia Child. Amy currently resides in France with her husband and two children.
The Gourmet Next Door was named after the theme she adopted through The Next Food Network Star, demonstrating the ease of cooking like a gourmet chef at home.
