Rick Stein's Seafood Odyssey

About the show

There is much more to Seafood Odyssey than cooking fish: it is also a fascinating cultural adventure.

Rick travels to some of the world’s main centres of seafood excellence, picking up recipe ideas, sampling new ingredients, and gleaning new techniques for preparing and cooking fish.

Armed with the ‘fruits’ of his travels, he returns from each destination to Padstow to create his own specially adapted and inspired dishes.

Rick has been my favourite TV Chef since I first found his Seafood Odyssey" Series on video in our local Library 11 years ago. I watch his TV shows as often as possible & he is definitely one of my "Food Heroes" I'd love to be able to see him "live"in Sydney this year, but unfortunately, (being on a low income) can't afford the tickets - will just have to be satisfied with seeing him on the "Telly"- lol
