Gordon Ramsay is without doubt both the most feared and revered chef in Britain today. His reputation for explosive outbursts and sharp-tongued confrontations is matched only by his ability to create truly spectacular food in his restaurants.

In each episode of this series, a struggling restaurant receives the Ramsay treatment. With only weeks to turn around its flagging fortunes, nothing is sacred. There’s no time for polite small talk as Gordon reveals a few home truths to the exhausted, emotional restaurant owner or manager, and embarks upon a mission to turn things around.

Who will win the battle of wills as the debates get more heated and the battle for survival becomes increasingly desperate? At the end of each episode, we’ll find out whether Gordon’s expert advice has worked its magic when Gordon revisits the restaurant a few months later. Will he be received by a closing down sign or booming business.
