Rachel Allen Bake!

Rachael you have turned me into a baker! Loved your afternoon tea show! Does anyone have the recipe for the almond cookies? They were identical to those I buy at my favorite bakery. Thanks!

I have just found out about Rachael Allen's program this year, and I tape it every 12.00pm show......Just love the way she makes it so quick and explains it so easily. I never liked baking much, since watching you I'm hooked and bake like crazy.

hi i am 13 and i have always wanted to be a chef since i was 5.. everyday i watch rachels show and i always write down her recipes. rachel has inspired me so much that today i made her chocolate and vanilla marble cake which tasted delicious hehe.

Hi Rachel, Your show and way of teaching has really inspired me to earn how to bake. I've started with simple recipes, tried apple cake, then marble cake, both of them turned out beautifully. I think Rachel Allen is a great teacher - I've cooked a number of her recipes and they have all become staples that we live on.

She's a patient gentle teacher. Love the show. Makes it so easy. Fantastic.

Rachel - this is a fantastic show. You explain everything with great care and understanding. You are a wonderful teacher, I have learnt so much already, can't wait to see the rest of the episodes. I wish you could come to Australia, especially Adelaide and run some cooking classes.

Love the show. The cooking school part of the show is great, because you get to see what might actually happen when you attempt the recipes via the students. Rachel's easy going approach with the students and her general relaxed approach to cooking is fantastic.

Great show. Like the fact she doesn't use lots of gadgets and also gives variations. Hope there is a recipe book coming out

i love all rachels shows. she is confident,easy to follow and doesn't go on with a heap of .... i have tried a few of her recipes and they have all worked and you don't have to go and buy heaps of ingredients for them.

Raybuz, I too have made the blondies. They were gone within 1/2 an hour when I took them to work.

I've just ordered the cookbook from Amazon UK for $35ish. Hopefully I'll get it within the next 2 weeks.

We are in Victoria Australia and we just love the show, particularly with the students on board! Very entertaining and the recipes are just Yum! Have some Blondies in the oven right now and can't wait for them to cool before cutting and gobbling them down! Cheers,

I live in Somerset West,Cape Town South Africa, have all of Rachels cook books and my husband recently bought Bake for me, Rachels receipes are never a flop, in fact in my oven right now are two Banana Loaves from her new book,her cooking is great with beautiful illustrations,cant wait for next book.
