Rachel Allen Bake!

From cupcakes to casseroles, both sweet and savoury baking treats will be given the Rachel Allen treatment in this new series, which proves that baking is back! In each program Rachel introduces a number of distinctive recipes, demonstrated in easy fashion by this passionate cook who believes strongly in utilising organic and natural ingredients.

Baking takes on its widest possible meaning in this new series, from breads to quiches to savoury pies and cakes; all are made easy to follow by Rachel as she demonstrates in her kitchen, and also in front of six lucky students at Ballymaloe cookery school in Cork. Also in a new incarnation for her, Rachel gets out of the kitchen in search of the best advocates of baking in all of its forms. Set in the UK and Ireland, Rachel journeys in search of chocolatiers, master bread-makers, pie makers and cake specialists, to learn from their craft. Wide ranging, colourful and enticing, this new Rachel series is one for all food lovers.

Love the show. The cooking school part of the show is great, because you get to see what might actually happen when you attempt the recipes via the students. Rachel's easy going approach with the students and her general relaxed approach to cooking is fantastic.

Rachel - this is a fantastic show. You explain everything with great care and understanding. You are a wonderful teacher, I have learnt so much already, can't wait to see the rest of the episodes. I wish you could come to Australia, especially Adelaide and run some cooking classes.

Rachel's passion for food and people is so evident in her shows. Beautiful food beautifully presented by a down to earth beautiful woman. I love your shows and your recipes and unlike many others, you just know they are going to work first time, every time. I feel like she is a family friend. Congratulations Rachel.

Hi Rachel, Your show and way of teaching has really inspired me to earn how to bake. I've started with simple recipes, tried apple cake, then marble cake, both of them turned out beautifully. I really want to learn how to cook and cook well, so if you can please help, as I am in India, and want to learn from you.
