Quickies In My Kitchen

I have just watched Nick Sheppard (The Clash) make chicken fajitas with mexican refried beans and salsa for Anna on Quickies in My Kitchen but cannot find the recipe. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Anna, Your festive nut cake OMG made it on the weekend so easy and yummy cake. This is one of the first cakes I have been able to eat recently being told to have a gluten & dairy free diet. It even made the gluten and dairy free chocolate taste fantastic.....any other recipes would be greatly appreciated..

How disappointing to see Ben O'Donoghue slagging off vegetarians on this show. It seems odd to alienate a restaurant-going market segment. And he cooked the most standard vego resto dish ever - pumpkin pasta!

I always enjoy Anna's quickies in the chicken. They are simple but tasty recipes which don't take all day to prepare.Anna, how about asking Steve Scaffidi (Bar One, Perth) into your kitchen, that would be great to see!

I enjoyed Anna's cooking so much, I'd like a cook book of the series, as my man wants me to delete the shows I have kept, He will just have to wait till I write down the recipes, as I re-watch them. I like all the guests that have been chosen, don't change a thing, YOU HAVE THE FORMULA FOR A GREAT COOKING SHOW.

luv the show Anna is totally herself in this show much better than "the best" series. All the dishes are simple and do-able!!

Anna Gare is not very hands on....how about responding to some of these posts to show your appreciation People go to the trouble to comment on the show, the least you can do is acknowledge them. The late Bernard King always acknowledged his fans and he was on a commercial network for decades and one of the pioneers of TV Cooking in Oz. Mind you, Bernard would put Anna Gare to shame with his razor sharp wit and presenting skills. At Least Get more interesting people on - or has this show been axed?

Very enjoyable show, there is the Anna factor and the food but it's also interesting as a glimpse into Perth

Quickies in my Kitchen is a great show... i have it on record and have series linked it so I dont miss a show.... I am now starting to print out my favourite recipes and cooking them up in My Kitchen.. not as quick though LOL. Love Anna and enjoy watching her perform in the kitchen....

Bryan and Julie would be great on the show with Anna Gare....it would be a fantastic show. Anna would get on with them (just keep them all away from the alcohol) hahahaha

I would like to see Bryan Wiseman and Julie Norrish from Come Dine with Me on this show. I absolutely love Anna. I agree with Yasmin the lime and macadamia cake was simple and easy....and tasted great. I've made it twice now and making it again this week end.

Hi Anna, I have cooked many of your recipies. I've been a fan of yours since "The Best" and now continuing on with your new show "Quickies in my Kitchen". Watched the latest episode last night (Tuesday, 22/6/10) with David Wirrpanda. I would love to get your recipie for your Lime and Macadamia Nut cake. The recipie was not on the Lifestyle Food Website -You mentioned the quantities of all ingredients except the macadamia nut meal. Did anyone catch the quantities? Could they please pass it on to me?

What a great entertaining lady Anna is. I never knew of her as a rock singer, but if she was half as good as she is now on her show, she must have been terrific. Like Leanne145 - I would buy the book too.

Absolutely love Anna's style and unpretentiousness. The recipes are easy and my friends think I'm the greatest cook now.

Anna, the kilo's are piling on with these mouth watering recipes!!recipes conquered.....The great chocolate cake, maroccan green fish curry, chicken casserole with fennel were absolutely delicious......very simple as well. So happy I tuned in. Thanks to a great show.

I love this show, and I love Anna, very easy going and so enjoyable to watch. Yet, I hate the music, it just seems a little out dated for such a hip cooking show!
